The Goodna Rugby Leagues Football Club has been a part of the Ipswich Rugby League since 1912, within the last 109 years that’s a lot of football that has been played by Goodna Eagles.

Goodna Eagles have supported an number of players through to the NRL, Intrust Super Cup, State of Origin and International levels, and housed a lot of legends over the years.

Our Eagles nest starts at Under 6’s right up to our senior teams, including our strong interjection into female participation in Rugby League housing three International age girls teams and an Opens Women’s team. Our club is very strong in supporting both male and female competitions.

Our senior men’s teams over the years have been very successful in the big arena, in 2019 our club had three of four senior premierships and last season 2020 during COVID our competition was effected immensely, and as a result the league only participated in the A Grade competition. The A Grade side were extremely successful and went on to win the Volunteer’s Cup – A Grade Premiership.

This was a big achievement, as COVID had many affects on community sport and the community overall as we knew it.

Always our aim is to build better and competive Teams, by having sponsorship and support from within our community. This is a great start for our club to provide an opportunity for grassroots Rugby League. This also assists our senior players wishing to play Rugby League to a higher level, and that they can develop and play senior football at in a healthy, and safe environment.

In the 2025 season we would like to invite local business to join a partnership with us at Goodna Eagles, with our players  and our club family.  Your sponsorship is not only a financial gain to our club, this partnership will see you invited to all home games, to participate in club events and invitations to club functions.
